What is Club Med Resorts?
Club Med is an all-inclusive resort. Although you pay per person rather than per room, children aged 0-3 years stay for free, ages 4-11 enjoy a 50% discount, and ages 12-15 get a 20% discount!
Club Med has locations in scenic locales around the world, including Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, and many others! They pride themselves on providing the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life, leaving you with no excuse not to take a break to spend some meaningful time with your family.
Club Med for Children
When you let Club Med know you’re traveling with a child who is 4-23 months old, you’ll be given the “baby welcome” as part of your all-inclusive package, which includes baby beds, a bathtub, strollers, bottle warmers, and everything you could possibly need—all right in your room!
For an extra charge, you can leave your babies in good hands at “Baby Club Med,” a baby-friendly kids club with age-appropriate activities so you can enjoy some time alone. On most cruises, kids clubs care for kids 4 and up, but Club Med offers 24/7 childcare for kids ages 2-3!
At the “Petit Club Med”, for a small fee, your little ones can partake in activities suitable for their age, ranging from a baby gym to support their learning motor skills to crafting to engage their budding creativity.
Plus, their services don’t stop at sundown! The “Pajama Club” runs from 7-11pm, letting kids play and wind down in a group setting. If your kiddo would rather stay by themselves or if you want a little more one-on-one support, they also individualized evening babysitting offered for an additional charge.
For older kids 4-10 years old, Club Med offers “Mini Club Med.” There, kiddos can play sports, games, do arts and crafts, and even take circus school lessons!
Club Med for Teens
For tweens and teens 11-17 years old, Club Med offers a space away from their parents where they can learn film design, play video games, learn how to DJ, take circus lessons, and play sports with their peers. They can even partake in the same sports lessons offered to adults such as tennis, golf, and scuba, or enjoy a refreshing glass of juice from their very own juice bar at the Miches resort!

1- Punta Cana (Dominican Republic)
One of my favorite Club Med resorts is Punta Cana. This sunny spot on the island of Hispaniola is their best selling property—and for good reason!
First of all, getting there is simple. With direct flights from Miami and transfers included, you can land, breeze through the airport, and be oceanside before your kids even ask, “Are we there yet?”
Let’s start with a game-changer for parents: childcare starting at just four months old. Yes, really! It’s incredibly rare to find a resort that welcomes babies into thoughtfully-designed care, giving parents the chance to actually rest… or sip a coffee while it’s still hot.
While the little ones are off on their own adventures, grown-ups can slip away to Zen Oasis, an upscale, adults-only sanctuary with quiet pools, a lavish lounge, and plenty of piña coladas.
Across the resort, the food is delicious and diverse, with restaurants that make even picky eaters happy. 2- Michès Playa Esmeralda (Dominican Republic)
Club Med’s Michès Playa Esmeralda in the Dominican Republic is described as “a resort where casual elegance meets eco-chic paradise,” and I can’t think of anything better!
Michès Playa Esmeralda is made up of four different boutique villages, each with their own unique environments and accommodations. Two of the boutique villages are adults only, while the other two are family-friendly. Regardless of which village you stay in, wellness is their mission, with an emphasis on yoga, facials and other spa features, activities, and sports.
The resort’s wellness-centered mission extends to your appetite and the planet, too! With an emphasis on sustainable tourism and the resort’s “Bye Bye Plastic” program, you can enjoy jungle-to-table dishes that feature locally- and organically-sourced ingredients while keeping the planet in mind. Plus, the childcare program even includes adventures in the little gardeners’ house, where children can grow plants, fruits, and vegetables!

With three white sand beaches next to the world’s second largest coral reef, this magnificent resort offers an extensive array of water and land sports, a variety of activities for families and kids of all ages (30 of which are included in the price of your stay!), and direct access to ancient Mayan wonders!
Some of the exclusive services provided are an oceanfront infinity pool, a full-service pool side bar, luxury cabanas and gardens, and for an upcharge, room service. If you want more than just a snack, there’s a variety of bars and family-friendly restaurants across the resort. Your little ones aren’t left out, either—restaurants offer high chairs and even baby food for your youngest travelers. Just make sure to reserve a table ahead of time!
Childcare for kids ages 4-17 is included in the price of your stay, and the resort is required to provide childcare on-demand for children under 4.
