Guests at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn have the best of all worlds: a location within easy walking distance of Epcot, beautiful accommodations at a Deluxe resort, numerous shopping opportunities close at hand, fantastic dining and entertainment options right in the neighborhood. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has a 1940’s Atlantic City theme, complete with a real boardwalk promenade.
This is a great option with a walking path to EPCOT and the skyliner to Hollywood Studios, but I prefer the Beach or Yacht Club across the way.
Even if it is still a bit higher to stay onsite, the benefits can far outweigh the added cost. I have laid out those benefits for you to see how staying at a Disney resort is a good value for you in my blog “Benefits to Staying at a Disney Resort.”
PROS:
Access to EPCOT
Dining Options
Sleeps 5
CONS:
Pool is ok but pales in comparison to Beach Club
Good For:
Food and Wine Guests
Honeymooners

The Belle Vue Lounge is a wonderful place to relax and have a small breakfast (pastries, coffee) or enjoy a drink in the evening. It’s quiet and calmer than the poolside.
Leaping Horse Libations also has a wonderful vibe, great margaritas, and non-alcoholic choices, too! They also have a nice lunch and dinner menu, and they take the Disney Dining Plan.
The best part about the BoardWalk is the evening entertainment. We love to circle around the performers and watch some old-fashioned fun. Card tricks, balancing plates on sticks and juggling knives … it might sound old-fashioned for an electronic generation but every time we stop to watch we see that the kids around us are fascinated. It doesn’t cost a dime and it’s a great way to relax after a long day at the parks.
