There are two villas you can choose from while staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. 

When it comes to picking the right villa to stay in at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, moms often ask me if they should choose the Boulder Ridge Villas or the Copper Creek Villas. The truth is choosing the best villa depends on which accommodations you and your family will need. 

Both Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek are stunning and honor the theme of wilderness, but they have some differences which I will outline below.

BOULDER RIDGE

• Closer to Disney Bus Stop

• Disconnected from the main lodge which is good for seclusion 

• Beautiful walkway that connects the lobby of the resort with Boulder Ridge

 

COPPER CREEK

• Closer to dining options 

• Closer to the Water taxi

• Closer to Spa

PRICE 

Both Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek are similar in price ranging from $700-$5,000 depending on what time of year you go and what size villa you choose. Copper Creek may appear more expensive but that is only if you choose the option of the 3-bedroom villa or cabins which Boulder Ridge does not have.

 

STYLE 

BOULDER RIDGE:

• It was built in 2000 so it is older and more run-down than Copper Creek

• Has a more traditional cabin and rustic feel

• Was refurbished in 2014 

• Has more water views than Copper Creek 

 

COPPER CREEK:

• It was built in 2017 so it is newer than Boulder Ridge 

• Has a more modern look

• Rooms are brighter 

• Views are mainly of the outdoor pool

Pros & Cons to Boulder Ridge: 

Pros: 

• Has more privacy 

• Quieter area 

• More traditional wilderness feel 

• Beautiful views 

Cons: 

• Older building 

• Farther from dining 

• Smaller rooms 

 

Pros & Cons of Copper Creek: 

Pros: 

• Modern and bright 

• Closer to amenities 

• Has options for bigger rooms 

Cons: 

• Views are mainly of the outdoor swimming pool 

• Further from the bus stop 

• Louder area
